February 10th session

This was an excellant hour of instruction. I learned that not all peripheral devices bought new are supported by the computer bought last month.

Noela has worked at teaching us how to get a feel for the language of Windows. After she left, Len and I explored the sony vaio and discovered an internal program for e-mailing the images stored in the hard drive.

I also learned that there are a number of things that can be dragged from a list onto the desktop. Also learned that there are a number of substantially differant e-mail programs out there. .... that the list on my telus webmail can be expanded. that the tool bars on the top of my screen might be deleted...... Great hour. Thanks Noela.

The Purpose of This Workshop

Hello!

The main purpose of Computer Lit is to help those between the ages of 40 and 59 learn the basics of their computers. Many people buy a new computer, but become overwhelmed with the standard features. That's where we come in. The CAP team will sit down with individuals on a hands-on, 1-on-1 basis and help clear up the confusion.

Call Manisha @ the library 780.361.4447 to book your session.
